Job description

Hello All,

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Specialist with strong expertise in geospatial datasets, high-volume time-series data, and product analytics. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with open-source analytical stacks, data governance tools, and product analytics platforms, combined with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering accurate, actionable insights.

Contract / Permanent (Flexible, based on candidate preference and business need)

Key Responsibilities

Design, analyze, and manage geospatial datasets and high-volume time-series data for product and process optimization.

Leverage open-source analytical tools (Superset, Trino, QGIS, Kepler, Mapbox, Carto, PostgreSQL, Dagster) to build scalable and insightful analytics solutions.

Develop advanced data pipelines and workflows for analytics, ensuring scalability and performance.

Implement and enforce data governance best practices using Datahub, Deltalake, and Spark.

Perform advanced data analysis and visualization using Python and SQL to generate actionable insights.

Drive product analytics initiatives using tools such as Matomo, Grafana, and Mixpanel to improve customer experience and product performance.

Ensure high quality, accuracy, and reliability of analytics outputs for informed decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver data-driven solutions.

Provide insights into network performance and infrastructure by leveraging knowledge of computer networks and ISPs (a strong asset).

Contribute to process improvements by embedding best practices for analytics, governance, and agile methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of professional experience in geospatial datasets or high-volume time-series analytics .

5+ years of experience in Python and SQL for advanced analytics.

3+ years of experience with open-source analytical stack : Superset, Trino, QGIS, Kepler, Mapbox, Carto, PostgreSQL, and Dagster .

3+ years of experience in data governance best practices and toolkits (Datahub, Deltalake, Spark).

3+ years of experience with product analytics tools (Matomo, Grafana, Mixpanel).

Strong understanding of data quality, accuracy, and actionable insights .

Knowledge of computer networks and ISP operations (preferred).

Experienced in working in Agile teams with tools like Slack, Zoom, Jira, or similar.
