Since 1996, we have been designing, building and managing some of the best homes in the world. We currently have 8 projects with around 4500 custom designed, furnished homes as well as commercial and institutional buildings, covering a total saleable area of approximately 14 million square feet under construction at Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad.
Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage MEPF [MEP & Firefighting] design projects, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions that enhances the quality of life for occupants and meets project goals in compliance with national / international codes and standards.
Areas of Ownership Deliverables
Detailed Design, Engineering and documentations :
- Preliminary DBR, calculations, schematics Budgetary estimates.
- Statutory approvals related design documentation / drawings in compliance with the departments.
- Detailed Design Brief Reports, standard details, new products introduction, market study.
- Tender documents, BOQ, List of approved makes.
Project Execution :
On-time and within-budget delivery of MEPF design phases.Effective resolution of any design-related issues that arise during project execution.Technical Evaluation of Vendors and products to meet quality standardsManage all stages of MEPF design for all projects from conceptualization to final implementation.Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.Ensure project timelines, budgets, and milestones are met without compromising on quality.Construction documents :
To release Good for construction drawings and documents with complete accuracy.Updating the WPS tracker and reviewing all design batches and closuresTo provide real-time insights into project status, milestones, and deadlines.Close the RFI's within 2 days and updating project tracker on a weekly basisCompliance and Safety Documentation
Reports confirming adherence to codes, standards, and safety regulations.Comprehensive safety audit and inspection reports.Training and Team development
To mentor the juniors with guidelines and accuracyDocumented professional development plans and training records for team members.Performance review reports and feedback documentation.Ensure adherence to design standards, best practices, and technological advancements.Maintain responsibility for the quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of all MEPF designs.Project Oversight and Coordination
Compliance and Quality AssuranceCompliance with local, national, and international codes and standards.Regularly audit and inspect MEPF systems to ensure they meet organizational and regulatory standards.Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure safety through MEPF design.Requirement :
BE | B. Tech or ME | M. Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 6+ yrs experience in Plumbing, Firefighting, Storm water and Sewage network design in large projects comprising of Villas, tall Residential and Commercial buildingsThorough knowledge of applicable IS Codes, National Building Code, NFPA, etcExperience in Revit is Must
