Job Title : Finance Executive

Department : Finance & Accounts

Location : Mumbai

Reports To : Finance Manager / Head of Accounts

Key Responsibilities :

1. Accounting & Compliance

Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally .

Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns and TDS payments .

Assist in preparation of statutory compliance reports and audits.

2. Vendor & Payment Management

Process purchase orders (POs) and track vendor invoices.

Ensure timely payments to vendors and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Follow up with vendors and internal teams for any pending clarifications.

3. Reconciliations & Project Costing

Perform internal and external reconciliation of cost sheets for events and projects .

Cross-check budgets, expenses, and revenues to ensure financial accuracy for each project.

Collaborate with project teams to resolve discrepancies.

4. Expense & Billing Verification

Verify supporting documents for all expenses and billing related to events and projects.

Ensure proper approvals and documentation are in place before processing payments.

Maintain accurate records for audits and management reviews.

5. Employee Reimbursements

Process and verify employee expense reimbursement claims in line with company policy.

Keep updated records to facilitate smooth audits and internal checks.

6. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare monthly and project-wise financial reports for management.

Work closely with internal teams to improve financial workflows and reporting efficiency.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance .

1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in events, projects, or service industries .

Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel .

Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles .

Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
