About the Job :

We're seeking a Software Engineering Operations Analyst to drive insights and operational excellence using Azure DevOps, Agile practices, and Power BI dashboards. This role demands strong analytical skills, dashboard automation, and a proactive mindset to support engineering leadership.

Lead Consultant (Power BI)

Job Location : Noida

Educational Background :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics or related field is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and automate Power BI dashboards

using data from Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines) to track engineering KPIs like velocity, lead time, and DORA metrics.

Ensure ADO data quality

by maintaining queries, workflows, and running regular audits to improve consistency across teams.

Drive Agile operational cadence

by managing sprint / release calendars, backlog health reviews, and quarterly planning processes.

Deliver executive reporting

through weekly / monthly readouts and ad-hoc analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights.

Support tooling administration

for ADO and Power BI, including license management and light vendor coordination.

Identify process bottlenecks

through data analysis and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Coordinate compliance activities

such as audit readiness, change logs, and security reporting tied to software releases.

Skills Required : Azure DevOps (ADO) :

Advanced proficiency in Boards, Queries, Repos, Pipelines, and Analytics.

Power BI :

Strong skills in data modeling, Power Query, DAX, and dashboard automation.

Agile Methodologies :

Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe practices; experience with sprint planning and release management.

Dashboarding & Reporting :

Ability to design executive-level dashboards and scorecards; deliver clear data-driven insights.

Data Analysis :

Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP), SQL for joins / aggregations, and API integration (ADO REST).

Operational Excellence :

Experience in managing cadence activities like backlog reviews, planning cycles, and compliance tracking.

Communication :

Strong storytelling with data; capable of creating concise executive summaries and documentation.

Mindset :

Ownership-driven, analytical, and solution-oriented with a “figure it out” attitude.
