You'll work closely with the various SAP LoBs in India to design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures that align with their product roadmaps and business goals. Leveraging Azure's IaaS and PaaS services, you will guide them through migration, modernization, optimization, and innovation, translating technical capabilities into impactful, customer-facing solutions.You will collaborate across teams to deliver tailored, high-value solutions that enhance agility, reduce costs, and unlock new opportunities through AI-powered infrastructure.As a Cloud & AI Solution Specialist for the Azure Platform, you will play a key role in helping customers modernize their infrastructure and unlock the full value of Microsoft's cloud influencing the products to use Microsoft AI components. You will work directly with technical and business stakeholders at SAP to design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient architectures that support AI workloads and business-critical applications.You bring deep expertise in migrating core workloads—including Windows, SQL Server, Linux, PostgreSQL, and Oracle—to Azure. Beyond migration, you lead customers through modernization using the 6R strategy, containerization best practices, and Azure-native services like AKS and Arc, while exploring how AI and intelligent agents can accelerate legacy transformation. You also apply strong networking knowledge to design hybrid and cloud-native solutions, including virtual networks, VPNs, and secure routing architectures that meet enterprise performance and compliance needs. Responsibilities

Drive sales by using demos, proofs of concept, and technical architecture accelerators to influence solution design and enable deployments.Lead architecture sessions and technical workshops to accelerate Azure adoption.Lead technical engagements with SAP LoBs such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) , SAP Business AI , Business Data Cloud, Digital Manufacturing Cloud, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, SAP Public Cloud Operations, SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS), SAP Industries and other LoBs focusing on AI integration and cloud modernization.Architect and deliver Agentic AI scenarios using Azure Open AI, Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio & Joule integrationsDrive adoption of Copilot for SAP and Copilot Studio across business functions like Finance, Procurement, and HRSupport SAP's RISE / GROW strategy by enabling secure cloud operations and AI-enhanced security workflows using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender for SAP.Build trusted relationships with platforms leads to co-design secure, scalable solutions.Resolve technical blockers by collaborating with engineering and sharing customer insights.Maintain expertise in cloud migration (Windows, SQL, Linux, PostgreSQL, app workloads), resiliency, security, and compliance.Represent Microsoft in customer forums and technical communities through thought leadership.

Qualifications

Substantial technical sales or technical consulting experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical sales or consulting experience OR equivalent experienceProven experience in cloud infrastructure, including migration of workloads such as Windows, SQL, Linux, and PostgreSQL.Experience designing or selling solutions involving hybrid networking, secure connectivity, or network performance optimization in enterprise environments.Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Platform, and containerization strategies.Strong understanding of Azure services, including security, compliance, and hybrid cloud scenarios.Preferable to have expertise in SAP platform and application architecture and Microsoft Azure services.Strong understanding of AI workloads, privacy-by-design principles, and enterprise security.Ability to engage technical and business stakeholders to design and deploy scalable, secure cloud solutions.Proven experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructure, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and / or technology managementFamiliarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and ISVs like NetApp, VMware, and RedHat.Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and Public Sector compliance standards. Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs) Azure Platform. Understanding of Microsoft server products and / or complementing solutions. The position requires the ability to articulate and present the business value of Microsoft's solutions and have a firm understanding of Microsoft's strategies and products relative to major Microsoft competitors SAP : Ability to deliver quick POC / landscape sizing and demos using SAP Netweaver platform. Presales SAP ERP Systems to large Enterprise customers. Installation of SAP systems based on SAP NetWeaver for all supported database and operating system combinations. Installation, integration and configuration of SAP HANA, S / 4 HANA, SAP Business Suite and SAP BW Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and cloud and datacenter infrastructure competitor landscape Experience leading large cloud engagements, especially those involving Infrastructure modernization and migration Deep Partner engagement and Management skills with SAP focused Practices. Communication : Executive level speaking and presentation skills, and very strong written and oral communication skills Exceptional and demonstrated decision-making, conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation skills Recommended Certifications Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102)AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate Certified & AZ-120 Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty CertifiedAzure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)SAP BTP Integration & Extension Suite (Preferable)
