Job description

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate– Accounts to support our financial operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc.)
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, etc.)
  • Assist with internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and inter-company accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of accounting entries and financial records

Key Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Experience in web ERP software like zoho and quick books is mandatory.
  • Preparation of MIS report for account payable receivable.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com).
  • Professional qualification like MBA (Finance) is preferred.
  • 4 -7years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
