Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (any relevant field).
13+ years of experience in managing and developing suppliers and strategic sourcing.

Techno-commercial background with experience in zero-based costing.

Advanced Quality Engineering Practices and experience with quality assurance processes.

Experience with mechanical commodities like Plastics, Castings, Machining, Sheet Metal, and Fabrication.

Ability to mentor suppliers, quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams to improve processes and quality.

Strong data analytics, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and handle multiple complex situations daily.

Key Responsibilities :

Drive NPI / VE / CE Projects : Work closely with suppliers on localization, global transitions, and tariff mitigation projects.

Global Collaboration : Collaborate with global COE / RCOE and GCMs to identify opportunities with HGR India-based suppliers for North America and EMEA regions.

End-to-End Supplier Transitions : Manage the end-to-end transition of India-based preferred suppliers to global sites, coordinating with Procurement, Site Quality, and Category Manager organizations.

Supplier Qualification : Responsible for supplier qualification through Honeywell Supplier Common Assessment and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).

Quality and Performance Monitoring : Monitor and report on supplier productivity, implementing initiatives to improve supplier performance.

Root Cause Analysis : Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for major supplier quality issues.

Data Analytics : Use data analytics to identify the most critical issues, ensuring focused efforts on high-priority problems.

Cross-functional Collaboration : Interface with suppliers, quality, operations, engineering, and procurement teams to drive quality improvements.

Lead Qualification Teams : Lead cross-functional teams for new supplier qualification and first article qualification.

End-to-End Project Execution : Take full responsibility for the execution and implementation of projects.

Additional Skills / Qualifications :

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor teams.

Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with global teams.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills to support decision-making and process improvements.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all organizational levels.
