Role Overview
The Manager – Corporate Relations and Volunteering will provide strategic leadership in driving corporate partnerships, fundraising, and volunteer engagement. This role involves building long-term relationships with CSR partners, foundations, and HNIs, aligning programs with partner objectives, and ensuring high-impact corporate engagement in line with UWBe’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Fundraising
Develop and execute a corporate relations strategy aligned with UWBe’s goals.Map the funding landscape and identify new partnerships (CSR, Foundations, HNIs).Build a 3-year robust funding pipeline through strategic outreach.Ensure portfolio balance across Health, Environment, Education, and Livelihood themes.Manage a funding portfolio of ₹40–50 Cr annually, optimizing allocation and utilization.Lead end-to-end donor engagement : proposals, negotiations, MoUs, and relationship management.Partnership & Program Management
Initiate and manage partnerships between corporates and NGOs for funding and volunteering programs.Ensure partners understand community needs and ground realities.Align program goals with business and CSR objectives of corporate partners.Support capacity-building initiatives for partners to enhance developmental impact.Volunteering & Community Engagement
Plan and execute corporate volunteering events ensuring high engagement and satisfaction.Collaborate with the Community Engagement team for seamless program implementation.Identify opportunities for corporates to jointly address key social challenges.Team Leadership & Operational Oversight
Lead, mentor, and build the capabilities of the Corporate Relations and Volunteering team.Ensure adequate staffing and resource planning.Guide team members in MarCom and Volunteering functions.Manage grants and funds of ₹50–60 Cr annually.Foster a collaborative, values-driven work culture.Key Skills & Competencies

Postgraduate degree (preferably in Social Work or related field)Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in the development sectorFluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Kannada is an advantageWillingness to travel for program and partnership needsCompensation
