About the Role
As a Software Engineer III , you will design and develop advanced software solutions, contribute to project planning and methodologies, and play a key role in translating user needs into technical outcomes. You will collaborate with colleagues across different backgrounds and experience levels, mentoring others while also learning from your peers. Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to understand and clarify requirements
Author and review technical specifications for complex system components
Develop software aligned with product requirements and best practices
Participate in and perform code reviews, promoting shared learning and high quality
Contribute to and adapt within various development environments (such as Agile and Waterfall)
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a supportive, solution-focused manner
Mentor and support the growth of junior team members, sharing knowledge and guidance
Keep up to date with emerging technology trends and approaches to data modeling
Requirements
Experience in software engineering, or equivalent skills gained through various educational or professional paths
Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or similar)
Proficiency in working with data manipulation languages and optimization
Understanding of data modeling principles and awareness of different data storage systems
Experience with programming languages and tools such as Java 8 and above, Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, or Kubernetes, SQL, JUnit & Mockito
Experience with AWS Cloud
Good to have experience with Kafka, Postgres, and Cucumber (BDD)
Good to have Aviation Domain knowledge
Strong analytical and research abilities, with an openness to learning continuously
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve common goals
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with consideration for clarity and accessibility
