The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow development, particularly in building custom plugins and integrating with external systems. Key Responsibilities - Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom ServiceNow plugins - Integrate ServiceNow with external systems, including Customer Service Portals - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and business stakeholders - Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers - Participate in code reviews, solution design, and performance optimization
Must-Have Skills - 6–8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development - Strong expertise in ServiceNow plugin development (Scoped Applications, Script Includes, Business Rules, etc.) - Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST / SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub) - Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Customer Service Management (CSM) - Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow Studio - Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Good-to-Have Skills - Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub - Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow ITSM modules - Exposure to ServiceNow App Engine and Performance Analytics - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist - Experience with CI / CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins) - Understanding of security best practices in ServiceNow integrations
