IDMC Developer

Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IDMC Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Data Validation (CDV) , along with proficiency in Shell Scripting . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable data integration and validation solutions on the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and deploy data integration workflows using Informatica IDMC (CDI, CDV) .

Automate data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes using Shell scripting and scheduling tools.

Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and QA teams to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutions.

Implement data quality checks, reconciliation frameworks, and validation processes in IDMC CDV.

Optimize performance of ETL pipelines and ensure scalability for large data volumes.

Support data migration projects and integration between on-premise and cloud platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Maintain technical documentation, best practices, and reusable components.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–7 years of experience in Data Integration & ETL development .

Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC – CDI and CDV modules .

Strong knowledge of Shell scripting (Unix / Linux) for automation and workflow orchestration.

Solid understanding of data warehousing, data validation, and reconciliation frameworks .

Experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) for data integration projects.

Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets.

Familiarity with scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or similar).

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Position Requirements Six years of experience in MDM Development experience with a focus on Informatica MDM and Party Model implementation. Must have hands on experience implementing Informatica’s SAS MDM application. In-depth knowledge of Informatica’s SAS MDM tools, including IDMC, and their functionalities for party entities. Familiarity with data modelling principles and data integration techniques. Strong understanding of data quality management and data governance practices within an MDM environment. Proficiency in data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot MDM-related issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders. Knowledgeable in technology and software development processes Good presentation development and delivery skills Excellent organizational skills Fair understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) required. Experience with travel and hospitality industry is a huge plus. Knowledge of Data Warehouses / Lakehouse architectures, Master Data Management, Data Quality Management, Data Integration, and Data Warehouse architecture
