MEP Project Engineer

Core Responsibilities

Design and Planning :

Develop mechanical systems (like HVAC), electrical power and distribution, and plumbing systems, integrating them into overall building designs.

Collaboration :

Work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.

System Management :

Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of equipment and components for all MEP systems.

Compliance :

Ensure all systems meet relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Efficiency and Sustainability :

Design and optimize systems for energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal environmental impact.

Documentation :

Prepare and review detailed drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for all MEP scope of work.

Problem-Solving :

Identify and resolve any issues related to MEP systems during the design, installation, or operational phases.

Key Skills

Technical Knowledge :

A deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, power systems, and water distribution.

Project Management :

Ability to manage project timelines and resources related to MEP installations.

Communication :

Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving :

Aptitude for critical thinking and resolving complex technical challenges.

Attention to Detail :

Precision in reviewing designs and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualification and Experience

BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineer with 6 to 8 years experience, preferble in high rise building / Residential building and Town Ships.
