We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer Dynatrace Integration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be the crucial link between our application and platform teams, ensuring our monitoring and alerting systems are robust and effective. Your primary focus will be on leveraging Dynatrace to its full potential, from initial setup and configuration to fine-tuning alerts and integrating them with our incident management tools. You will also play a key role in operational application management, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis, to ensure long-term stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Dynatrace Expertise : Lead the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Dynatrace platform.
- Monitoring & Alerting : Develop and implement comprehensive synthetic monitoring strategies. Define, fine-tune, and manage alerts within Dynatrace and Splunk to ensure critical issues are identified and addressed proactively.
- Integration & Automation : Integrate Dynatrace alerts and data into our incident management tools, such as ServiceNow, to streamline the incident response process.
- Operational Management : Take ownership of operational application management tasks, including troubleshooting user issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing long-term fixes to prevent recurring problems.
- Liaison & Collaboration : Act as the primary liaison between application and platform teams, translating application-specific needs into effective monitoring solutions and providing expert guidance on best practices.
- Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of monitoring configurations, alerting rules, and operational procedures.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.Technical Skills :
Demonstrable expertise in Dynatrace setup and configuration.Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management.Proven experience in operational application management, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Expertise in setting up and tuning alarms in both Dynatrace and Splunk.Experience with IT service management tools like ServiceNow for incident management integration.Soft Skills :
A strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in a liaison role between technical teams.Ability to identify and address recurring issues proactively.Knowledge :
