Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O - Application Specialist (Finance / Warehouse)

Report to : APAC IT Head

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support business functions in describing and documenting business requirements for the

application in scope.

  • Convert the business requirements into a development
  • maintenance plan for the application in scope respecting the global IT strategy and plan, policies and other relevant frameworks.
  • Collaborate with other application specialists ensuring a consistent solution and long-term

    • governance of data.

  • Stay updated on, and evaluate vendor updates, patches and fixes.
  • Contribute with skills and knowledge to the development and maintenance plan for the

    • Application.

  • Contribute with skills and knowledge to the work on IT architecture and design rules.
  • Introduce new functionality and propose changes to drive business efficiency.
  • Follow up on the quality, performance and cost efficiency of the application in scope.
  • Document and maintain records of the business requirements for the application and area

    • in scope.

  • Document and maintain records of the implementation of business requirements in the

    • application in scope.

  • Provide second- and third-line support when needed.
  • Provide end user training, user manuals and FAQs for the application in scope.
  • Drive testing of the application in accordance with the defined test strategy and plan.
  • Drive and lead the work on the implementation of compliance to policies, laws and

    • regulations and relevant industry standards for the application and area in scope.

    Mandates

  • Propose and define the development and maintenance plan for the application in scope, in

    • collaboration with business owner, business stakeholders and the architecture team.

  • Define the implementation of changes for the application in scope.
  • Define the data architecture for the application in scope based on global data architecture.

    • Approve test protocols.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant area
  • More than 3 years’ experience from using the application in scope.
  • Deep knowledge of business processes supported by the application in scope.
  • Experience from working in a multicultural organization.
  • Experience of working with ITSM and ITIL.
  • Experience of working with agile methods and frameworks.
  • Excellent language skills in English.
