Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef based in the Middle East Countries. The Sous Chef will assist in managing kitchen operations, oversee food preparation and presentation, and ensure high-quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, managing food safety and hygiene protocols, and collaborating with the head chef to develop creative menus and recipes. The role requires efficient coordination to ensure smooth workflow in the kitchen while upholding exceptional culinary standards.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills, including expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
• Experience in kitchen management, including inventory control, staff supervision, and teamwork
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Creativity in menu planning and recipe development to enhance customer satisfaction
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or relevant field is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry will be an advantage
