Job Role : Application Engineering, Investigation of incidents, change request (Small Enhancement), Application development for performance improvement, Emergency fixes and permanent solution for issues reported
The role expects candidates to
- Review and improve the application availability to customers and reduce downtime.
- Ensure all payment functionalities are as per requirements and proactively find the gap and enhance the platform to function as per commitment to clients
- Work on change requests / small enhancement, testing, support SIT, UAT phase.
- Ensure release implementation and postproduction support
- In case of any emergency issues reports, the candidate is expected to provide his expertise to resolve the issue and provide temporary fix and work on problem ticket / permanent enhancement
- Ensure governance and closure of all application-related issues reported by clients in agreed SLA framework.
- Work closely with IT operations team and identify opportunities of automation to ensure elimination of recurring issues in production.
- Work on initiative to improve performance of the platform & critical services and saving on infra utilization, optimization, building automation tools, optimization of microservices & their performance.
- Create documentation of processes and change / create SOP.
Roles and responsibilities details
Participate in the handling of incidents with the aim of their resolution
Participate in supporting the RUN L2 / L3 team and resolving production-related incidents / problems.Debug and troubleshoot Java based applications and resolve technical issues.Analyze and resolve complex production issues, identifying root causes with implementation support.Participate in the analysis of incidents by the RUN IT team, and recommend actions to be implemented based on the reported incidentParticipate in implementing the necessary developments to resolve the incidentAssist in developing small enhancements and features for existing applications.Participate in carrying out unit tests and write the documentation corresponding to the modifications made before going into ProductionParticipate in respecting commitments / SLA's
