Cloud Data Architect - ETL / SQL Server

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Cloud Data Architect with 7+ years of experience and deep expertise in designing and deploying modern data solutions on leading cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of both SQL Server 2019 (T-SQL) and NoSQL databases, coupled with proficiency in data modeling tools, ETL processes, and API-based data exchange.

This role demands architectural ownership to ensure data solutions are secure, compliant, and support iterative development in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Data Solution Design : Utilize Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to architect and design robust, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-based data solutions and infrastructure.

Database Design and Implementation : Apply Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2019 (T-SQL) for relational database design, query optimization, and stored procedure development. Possess working knowledge of various NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and their appropriate use cases.

Data Modeling and Standards : Drive the standardization of data structures using Strong proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques (e.g., conceptual, logical, and physical models) to ensure data consistency and integrity.

Data Integration and ETL : Oversee the strategy and implementation of ETL, data integration, and API-based data exchanges, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data quality across disparate systems.

Security and Compliance : Responsible for designing and implementing secure, compliant data solutions that adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements for data governance and privacy.

Agile Delivery : Work effectively in Agile / Scrum environments with a strong understanding of iterative development, ensuring architectural decisions support rapid iteration and continuous deployment.

Technology Evaluation : Evaluate and recommend new cloud data technologies, services, and patterns to continuously improve the data architecture's performance and scalability.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, database design, and cloud-based data solutions.

Database Expertise : Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2019 (T-SQL), and NoSQL databases.

Cloud Platforms : Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data infrastructure.

Data Lifecycle : Experience with ETL, data integration, and API-based data exchanges.

Modeling : Strong proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques.

Governance : Experience designing and implementing secure, compliant data solutions.

Methodology : Prior experience in Agile / Scrum environments with a strong understanding of iterative development.
