Job Summary :
We are seekingan Engineer with strong technical understanding of Solid Mechanics, Strength of Material etc. Familiar with industry codes (ASME, API, ASTM, AISC etc.). The ideal candidate will perform structural, thermal, and piping system simulations to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of designs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform FEA-based simulations for structural, thermal,fatigue, and vibration analysis.
- Develop and validate numericalmodels for linear,non-linear, and transientanalysis.
- Conduct pipe stress analysisfor thermal, seismic,wind, and pressureloads.
- Perform calculations using CaesarII, AutoPIPE to ensure compliance with ASME and API standards.
- Identify thermal expansion, nozzleloads, and supportplacements to avoid failures.
- Ensure designs comply with ASME, API, ASTM, AISC, ASCE and other standards.
- Document FEA / Pipe stress methodologies, assumptions, and analysisreports.
- Optimize simulation methodologies to improve accuracyand reduce computational cost.
Software & Tools Expertise :
Use FEA tools : ANSYS,and NASTRAN, etc.Use Pipe Stress tools : Caesar II, and AutoPIPE, etc.Technical Skills :
Knowledge of FEA and Pipe StressAnalysis.Solid understanding of Solid Mechanics, Strengthof Material, etc.Understanding of seismic, wind,and vibration load analysis.Soft Skills :
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and good communication skillsfor presenting results and reports.Ability to handle multipleprojects.
