About the Opportunity :
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead ServiceNow to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions across multiple functional modules including ITSM, ITAM, CSM, ITOM, IRM, and CMDB.
This role demands a strong technical foundation combined with leadership capability someone who can translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions, guide developers through implementation best practices, and ensure successful delivery across multiple ServiceNow projects.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on configuration experience, deep knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, and the ability to drive platform innovation while ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of ServiceNow solutions across modules such as ITSM, ITAM, CSM, ITOM, IRM, and CMDB.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and process owners to define technical requirements and design scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams guiding coding standards, integration strategies, and configuration practices.
- Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow components including forms, workflows, business rules, UI policies, client / server scripts, and reports.
- Design and maintain CMDB structure, ensuring accurate configuration item (CI) relationships, data quality, and service mapping.
- Implement integration solutions between ServiceNow and external systems using REST / SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
- Ensure all developments follow ServiceNow governance, security, and release management guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce quality assurance standards, and guide the team in optimizing performance and maintainability.
- Support ServiceNow upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning while ensuring minimal disruption.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders for ServiceNow capabilities, roadmap, and technical feasibility.
- Mentor and upskill junior developers and administrators, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-driven team culture.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications :
8 to 12 years of total IT experience with 5+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience.Strong hands-on experience across ServiceNow modules ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, IRM, CSM, and CMDB.Excellent understanding of ServiceNow project delivery lifecycle, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.Expertise in workflow automation, scripting (JavaScript / Glide), Flow Designer, and custom app development on the platform.Proven experience in creating, modifying, and maintaining toolset components within ServiceNow.Strong understanding of data models, CMDB relationships, and dependency mapping for service visibility.Familiarity with ITIL v4 principles and their application within the ServiceNow ecosystem.Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications and APIs (REST / SOAP, OAuth, SSO).Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business stakeholders(ref : hirist.tech)
