Job Title : Accounts Head (CA)

Location : Navi Mumbai (Juinagar)

Experience : 8+Years

Industry : Food Industry / FMCG

Salary : Upto 25 LPA

This is for a fast-growing food and consumer brand committed to delivering fresh, authentic, and high-quality products. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and trust, they are building a strong presence across markets and platforms. As they continue to scale, so seeking an experienced Accounts Head to lead the finance and accounts function.

About the Role :

The Accounts Head will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting function of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires strong domain expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial discipline in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end accounting function (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, etc.).
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and budgets for management.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
  • Establish and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and processes.
  • Provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making in collaboration with leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts & finance team.

Key Requirements :

  • 8+ years of proven experience in accounts and finance, preferably in the FMCG / consumer goods sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliances, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and financial systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • CA / CMA qualification preferred; Commerce graduates with relevant experience may also apply.
