Your Core Responsibilities :
As a Payments & Cards Project Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the digital banking landscape in Qatar, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative card and payment solutions.
- Deliver strategic digital transformation projects for leading Qatari banks
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecyclefrom requirements gathering (BRDs) to go-live
- Ensure strict adherence to QCB and international card scheme compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal teams (business, IT, compliance) and external partners (Visa, Mastercard, vendors)
- Manage vendor relationships, contract deliverables, and technical integration timelines
- Lead UAT planning, defect triage, and production readiness assessments
- Drive initiatives around customer experience enhancements and digital enablement
- Prepare project documentation : training guides, SOPs, and post-launch reports
- Support change management efforts tied to digital channels and card innovations
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field5 to 8 years of relevant project management experience within the banking or fintech sectorProven track record of successfully delivering Visa and Mastercard initiatives, including card system integrationsStrong familiarity with the GCC banking landscape, with specific experience navigating QCB regulatory requirementsDeep understanding of modern payment technologies including payment architecture, tokenization, and payment orchestrationProficient in using project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, MS Project, and ConfluenceDemonstrated ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across business, IT, compliance, and external vendorsExcellent communication and coordination skills to drive cross-functional project successFluent in English (spoken and written)Arabic language skills are a strong advantage and preferredWhy Join Us ?
