We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Delivery Management Specialist
In This Role You Will
- Defining strategies, patterns, standards and reference architectures for one or more of the domains.
- Provide architecture leadership, mentoring, escalation, and resource allocation to the Fraud architecture team
- Define solution architecture and design presenting & seeking practical approaches that optimize cost and reuse, ensuring that it adheres to platform roadmaps and overall enterprise architecture.
- Articulate and communicate the solution architecture and design to business and engineering teams.
- Partner with external suppliers to define architecture patterns and integration approaches
- Lead Architecture governance and adopt and advocate strategic Architecture and design patterns within the project or programmes to be implemented.
- Able to manage risk, including timely and effective management and escalation of risks and issues
- Stay up to date with technology trends and communicate to peers and stakeholders
- Perform Design reviews of other team members for alignment with architecture principles and strategy.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements :
Lead architect experience on major projects or programmesMust have experience on projects in BFSI domain e.g. Retail and commercial Banking (Payments, Cards and onboarding). Customer and staff channel is relevant to the role.Experience of working in international or global projects preferredExperience in architecting application solutions with medium to large application integrations involved.Excellent understanding of Microservices and API architectures (API patterns, security approaches, Spring, integration)Proficient in designing large scale data pipelines using GCP PubSub, Kafka, dataflows, Dataproc and BigQueryShould have good understanding of API security patterns aligned to iAuth principles.Exposure to as many as possible of : UI frameworks (e.g. mobile and web frameworks), Databases (e.g. Postgres, Oracle), BPM (e.g. IBM BAW, Pega, Camunda)Must have cloud architecture experience with preference on GCP solutions and GCP CertificationDemonstrate ability to optimize cloud consumption costGood to have awareness of digital front end platforms architecture like mobile SDK, Mobile HUBExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communications appropriately to the audienceGood stakeholder management skills with ability to interact and influence across different organizational levels on technical or business solutionsHas previously worked with third parties vendors, and been involved in RFP processesSignificant experience of Architecture ways of working, for example Reviews, Design Authority processesProven ability to deliver in a matrixed organisation, including working collaboratively and resolving conflictsProven ability to work with ambiguous problems and drive solutions and escalation through excellent analytical and problem solving skillsAwareness of infrastructure, integration, data, messaging or security are also relevant technical skills.Ability to be pragmatic, flexible, have a sense of ownership, develop networks, and be culturally sensitive are also relevant personal attributes.You'll achieve more when you join HSBC.
