Role Overview

KR Mangalam School, Bahadurgarh, is establishing a cutting-edge Maker’s Lab to foster innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning among students. We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional with strong practical experience in Arduino, 3D printing, prototyping, electronics, and maker technologies to run and expand this space.

The Maker’s Lab In-Charge will guide students in projects, maintain equipment, introduce new technologies, and collaborate with teachers to integrate maker-based learning into the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Lab Management & Operations
• Oversee daily functioning of the Maker’s Lab and ensure all equipment is well-maintained and safe.
• Procure, install, and maintain maker tools and consumables (Arduino kits, sensors, 3D printers, laser cutters, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Teaching & Mentorship
• Conduct hands-on workshops and training sessions for students (grades 3–12).
• Mentor students in designing, building, and prototyping projects using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, 3D printing, and robotics.
• Support participation in competitions, hackathons, and exhibitions.
• Curriculum & Collaboration
• Work with teachers to integrate Maker Lab activities into STEM and interdisciplinary subjects.
• Develop structured modules and project-based learning pathways aligned with school goals.
• Inspire creativity, problem-solving, and design-thinking skills.
• Innovation & Outreach
• Keep up-to-date with emerging maker technologies and introduce them to the lab.
• Organize exhibitions, maker fairs, and showcases for student projects.
• Act as a mentor for innovation-driven clubs and initiatives.
