Recruitment Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and engineering positions within the il & Gas / EPC / Construction or Heavy engineering sectors etc. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge, sourcing expertise, and proven ability to handle niche and senior-level engineering mandates across onshore and offshore disciplines.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical, engineering, and project-based roles across Oil & Gas, EPC, and Energy industries.
Partner with hiring managers or clients to understand project requirements, technical skills, and workforce needs.
Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, databases, headhunting, and industry networking.
Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates based on technical expertise, project exposure, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and facilitate onboarding in line with client timelines.
Maintain and update the recruitment tracker and candidate database within internal ERP / ATS systems.
Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability in the Oil & Gas and engineering markets.
Work closely with the business development team to support manpower proposals and tender submissions.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, local labor laws, and client-specific hiring processes.
Build strong relationships with clients, candidates, and technical consultants to ensure consistent delivery quality.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
4–8 years of proven experience in recruitment for Oil & Gas / EPC / Construction or Heavy engineering sectors etc
Strong understanding of project-based hiring (onshore / offshore, construction, commissioning, maintenance, shutdown).
Familiarity with technical job categories such as fabrication, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and HSE.
Proficiency in sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and Boolean search.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple project deadlines.
ERP / ATS experience preferred.
