About the job :

RRD is looking for a Visual Designer who can deliver high-quality UI / UX design work and take ownership of end-to-end design execution. This is a hands-on design role with leadership responsibility when the lead is unavailable, youll act as the lead : review work, assign tasks, make design decisions, and manage escalations.

Youll review design requests, estimate efforts, set and own TATs (turnaround times), run client calls, and design / build WordPress sites using themes. This role demands someone who can think independently, make practical decisions under pressure, and guide others, not someone who needs constant direction.

What You'll Own / Responsibilities :

• Review the incoming design requests : assess scope, provide written responses, and define TAT for delivery.
• Estimate effort and define acceptance criteria for each request; communicate timelines transparently to stakeholders.
• Create high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes for web and mobile platforms, maintaining visual consistency and design systems.
• Design and build WordPress sites using themes : configure layouts, customize templates, and deliver production-ready sites.
• Perform HTML / CSS edits and troubleshooting to fix layout or responsiveness issues.
• Lead client calls to capture requirements, ask relevant questions, and define scope.
• Act as interim lead when the lead is away delegate work, review designs, and mentor the other designers.
• Ensure all designs align with brand standards, accessibility basics, and development feasibility.
• Manage pressure situations such as tight deadlines or escalations with clear communication and quick, quality-driven decisions.
