Job description

We are looking for a PostgreSQL (PgSQL) programmer who is well-proficient in APIs and exhibits good caliber in building and maintaining database code. Our software offerings are robust and evolving in nature and hence, we want a developer who is great with PL / PgSQL programming for database code administration, design, & performance monitoring.

Required Skills :

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with SQL and procedural language PL / pgSQL
  • Strong knowledge of building effective and lightweight APIs
  • Well versed with ETL concepts
  • Expertise in developing, designing, and maintaining database code
  • Good understanding of data retrieval, migration, and transformation

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate & plan to engineer robust databases
  • Design database structures for effective data storage and retrieval
  • Stay aligned with front-end developers to create APIs that are easy to integrate
  • Tweak the performance of databases with query optimization, indexing, and other strategies
  • Implement database security measures within the postgreSQL environment
  • Document and deliver timely database codes that meet project requirements and deadlines
