Job Title : Technical Architect Microservices & Cloud Strategy

Location : Chennai, India

Type : Full-Time

Experience Level : 12+ years

Role Overview :

As a Technical Architect, you will lead the transformation of monolithic systems into resilient microservices, architect hybrid and cloud-native deployments, and prototype AI-driven SDLC improvements. This role demands strong cloud expertise, leadership, and deep hands-on technical Responsibilities :

Architecture & Cloud Strategy :

Redesign monolithic applications into scalable microservices using Domain-Driven Design and event-driven patterns.
Define architectural blueprints for hybrid, cloud, and on-prem environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.

Technical Leadership :

Lead Agile teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Mentor developers on architecture, performance optimization, and best practices.

Maintain technical documentation for traceability and knowledge sharing.

Cloud, DevOps & Deployment :

Implement hybrid and multi-cloud strategies using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.

Ensure portability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency across deployment environments.

Lead secure migration of legacy systems to modern cloud infrastructures.

AI in SDLC (Preferred) :

Evaluate and prototype AI tools to enhance software development (e.g., intelligent testing, code generation).

Contribute to strategic AI / ML and MLOps adoption throughout the software development lifecycle.

Collaboration & Client Engagement :

Work closely with engineering, product, and data science teams.

Collaborate with clients on requirements, solution architecture, and delivery.

Performance, Security & Data Management :

Optimize systems for real-time IoT data processing and analytics.

Implement and maintain robust security across applications and infrastructure.

Design and manage scalable database systems using SQL and NoSQL Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience :

8+ years in software architecture and development with cloud expertise

Proven success in transforming legacy systems into microservices-based architectures

Experience in designing and deploying solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP

Technical Skills :

Programming Languages : Python, Java (Spring Boot)

Containers & Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes

Messaging Systems : Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SNS / SQS

Databases : PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch

CI / CD & DevOps Tools : GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps

Infrastructure as Code : Terraform, CloudFormation

API Management & Security : REST / gRPC APIs, API Gateways, IAM, WAF

Monitoring : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, Azure Skills :

AI / ML : Experience with tools like GitHub Copilot, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and MLOps practices

Microservices Enhancements : Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)

Frontend Architecture Awareness : Understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, React

Certifications : AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Architect-level certifications

PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) : Experience with PLM systems in manufacturing environments

Statistical Computing : Familiarity with R for data analysis
