We are a growing apparel retail startup, managing 3 global fashion brands in India, with a passionate team of ~30 employees at corporate office and over 800 staff at stores. As we scale, we are looking for a driven and hands-on Assistant Manager – HR to own both HR Operations and
Business Partnering.
Role Highlights :
As Assistant Manager – HR, you will be responsible for :
- Managing end-to-end HR operations – payroll, compliance, employee support and assistance in designing
- Driving talent acquisition & onboarding across store and office roles
- Acting as a Business Partner to employees and leadership on people matters
- Leading employee engagement, learning & development, and performance processes
- Providing data-driven HR dashboards & insights to guide business decisions

Hands-on recruiter with the ability to engage and retain talentPayroll, compliance, and core HR processes run smoothly and without errorSmooth and scalable Recruitment & onboarding processes established to support business growth.Assist leadership in establishing clear HR framework (performance cycle, compliance adherence).Healthy employee engagement and retention scores across brands.Leadership dashboards and insights.Employee engagement activities successfully drive a positive work culture.HR role is also positioned as a supportive and approachable function for employees and managers.What We’re Looking For :
MBA / PGDM in HR (from reputed institute preferred).Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS tools3-6 years of HR experience, ideally with exposure to both operations and business partnering in retail, fashion, or lifestyle industries.Strong generalist HR background (talent acquisition, performance, engagement, compliance).Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment with limited resourcesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills and ability to manage payroll partnersLocation : Bangalore
