Technical Lead Process Engineer

This role is for  Process engineer  role during execution stage for simple or  large / complex Water and Waste water treatment projects. This role does not have team members reporting directly but may need to have good influencing skills team working and communication skills to coordinate with various functions and ensure timely submission of quality process engineering deliverables in water treatment like PFD P&ID process design description / summary document etc.

Roles and responsibilities

Timely preparation of budgetary and final proposals for simple and complex projects with multiple water and waste water treatment technologies

Work with Process engineers to develop process designs bringing value to customer

Generate / Coordinate Process & Instrumentation Diagrams and General Arrangement Drawings

Apply costing and process design strategies to position the company in the early

• stages of project development and to increase probability & success

Adhering to all internal procedures related to bid preparation proposal tracking

Support development and closure of key deals to maximize revenue generation

Support Sales teams to properly structure a deal and optimize profitability through a thorough understanding of the project life cycle costs and financing requirements where applicable

Support Sales teams to structure deals to combine equipment services and specialty chemicals and clearly develop & communicate value propositions for each Projects offering

Support Sales teams in the continuous development and / or fine tuning of country specific business plans and market research.

Experience in costing / proposals for multi-process extended scope water & wastewater treatment solutions.

Must Have Requirements

Able  to plan and formulate proposal Engineering deliverables in water or waste water Industry Processes and Products. Relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering or equipment supply is a must.

Able to understand water chemistry identify red flags be able to select unit operations and design conventional as well modern pretreatment like ultrafiltration Design RO system for various water and waste water applications design biological system understanding of thermal evaporator system .

Knowledge of Filtration Ion Exchange Membrane Separation Technologies and Membrane Process Equipment and the experience in running RO / EDI projections Filtration System dosing / chemical injection calculations

Able to review Tender electromechanical specifications Engineering design standards Proposal Playbook safety and customer contract requirements and come up with right process and product selection.

Able to develop Process Description Process Calculations PFD PID Layouts

Able to develop Capex Opex O&M ROI calculations to optimise the Process schedule and cost of the project while ensuring feasibility of execution.

Knowledge on Materials / Metallurgy on metallic and nonmetallic Pumps valves Equipments pipes and fittings

Able to prioritise bids or multiple activities and work independently

Able to interface with customers technical representatives and Veolia Lead Engineers Sourcing Finance with minimal Proposal Manager intervention.

Responsibilities :

Interpret and analyse customer or consultant specification very clearly

Good To Have Requirements

1. Experience working in a global delivery centre or international locations

2. Experience with international codes and standards

3. Exposure and implementation to oil & gas specification is preferred

7. Ability to represent project from a process engineering know how with the customer or customer consultant

Minimum 8-10 years Experience in Water or Waste Water treatment related Industry.

Qualifications :

Engineering Degree Mechanical / Experience in Chemical / Mechanical / Environmental Engineering
