Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and optimize Android HAL layers for automotive systems, focusing on Audio, Connectivity, and system integration.
• Work on Audio HAL, ensuring seamless integration between Android frameworks and vehicle audio hardware.
• Implement and optimize wireless and wired connectivity solutions (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, etc.) within the Android Automotive OS.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to enable and fine-tune vehicle-specific HAL components.
• Debug and resolve issues related to Android framework, HAL, and system performance.
• Optimize power management, latency, and performance for automotive applications.
• Work closely with Android platform teams to integrate new features and updates.
• Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and safety Qualifications :
• Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Android Automotive development.
• Strong expertise in Android HAL development and Android Framework internals.
• Experience working with Audio HAL (ALSA, AAudio, OpenSL ES, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Android Connectivity (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, Ethernet, etc.).
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Java / Kotlin for Android development.
• Experience with Android Debugging tools (adb, logcat, perf, etc.).
• Familiarity with Vehicle HAL (VHAL) and automotive communication protocols (CAN, A2B, etc.).
• Knowledge of Android BSP (Board Support Package) and low-level driver integration.
