Job description

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with TCS.

Role : Android Developer

Job Type : C2H (Work from Office)

Client : TCS

Job Location : Bangalore / Chennai

Experience : 5 to 9 years

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days

Job Description : Must Have :

  • 5+ years of experience developing Android applications using Kotlin and Java
  • Strong knowledge in designing user interfaces using XML and adhering to Material Design guidelines
  • Hands-on experience with Android Studio and Android SDK
  • Familiar with Android interactivity and gesture handling
  • Proficient in using RecyclerView, ConstraintLayout, Vector Drawable, and other UI components
  • Experience implementing Navigation Components for seamless in-app navigation
  • Solid understanding of Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming
  • Skilled in writing unit and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito
  • Experience handling push and local notifications in Android
  • Proficient with Git for version control and team collaboration

Good to Have :

  • Exposure to Agile development environment
  • Exposure to AWS and Azure.
