Job Description – Finance & Accounting Analyst

Location : Salt Lake Sector V, Kolkata, India

Shift : Primarily Indian Shift (occasional US hours support required)

Reports to : Finance Manager

Salary Range : INR 3.5 LPA – INR 4.5 LPA

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Analyst to support our finance operations and business analytics functions. This role offers exposure to international clients, combining core accounting responsibilities with operational and financial performance analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

• Support day-to-day finance operations including expense allocation, reconciliations, and accounting entries.
• Assist in preparing financial and incentive-related reports for internal management.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system and ensure timely posting of journals.
• Perform periodic reconciliations of expenses.
• Provide support in monthly closing activities and ad-hoc finance assignments.

Operational & Financial Analytics

• Prepare performance dashboards and financial models to analyze business efficiency.
• Conduct ROI and profitability analysis across teams, projects, and clients.
• Evaluate channel and process efficiency to drive improvements.
• Provide actionable insights using Power BI and other visualization tools.
• Partner with leadership to prepare management reports for decision-making.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics. Experience in the KPO / BPO sector is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel;

knowledge of ERP systems and Power BI is an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written) with ability to interact directly with international clients.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexible to work in Indian shifts with occasional support during US hours.
