Summary :
Looking for 5–8+ years of experienced recruiter to manage end-to-end hiring for US and Canada IT and Engineering roles. Must have strong knowledge of US & Canadian work authorizations, tax terms, and compliance, with proven ability to source and hire software, hardware, healthcare, and engineering talent.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle full-cycle recruitment for IT (Java, .NET, Cloud, QA, DevOps, Data) and Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Manufacturing, Embedded) roles across US and Canada.
- Source candidates via Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Canada, and other region-specific job boards.
- Screen candidates for technical skills, cultural fit, and work eligibility (H1-B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT, TN Visa, PR, Canadian Citizen, Work Permit).
- Negotiate pay rates for W2, C2C, 1099 (US) and T4, T4A, Incorporated (Canada) engagements.
- Manage ATS, VMS / MSP submissions, compliance, and onboarding documentation for both US and Canada.
- Collaborate with clients and hiring managers to meet recruitment SLAs and ensure successful onboarding.
- Work in US and Canada time zones and consistently deliver on hiring metrics and business goals.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business, or Engineering).5–8+ years recruiting for US and Canada IT & Engineering positions.Must be flexible working on engineering, healthcare, and infrastructure roles.Strong understanding of US & Canadian employment laws, immigration, and compliance processes.Excellent sourcing, communication, client coordination, and negotiation skills.
