The Opportunity

Being an Estimator, you will be a capable, driven, and experienced construction professional with experience in tendering and accurately winning construction projects in this commercial construction space. As you will likely expect, you will be:

• Preparing Design & Construct tenders.
• Measuring and pricing quantities
• Manage tender process and documentation
• Source Sub-Contractor and Supplier quotes and prices
• Capable with Cost Planning and Tendering work
• Prepare accurate tenders, quotes, and budgets

The Builder

This national builder delivers over $1 Billion of projects across Australia, annually, and deliver projects here in Melbourne from $20M through to $150M.

They have a range of project experiences and you could work on any number of types of build from high-rise apartments and student accommodation, through to commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, or sports/aquatic centres.

Highly regarded as an employer of choice, and a culture of high performance, they are now looking to grow a project team and within that, a highly capable Estimator to oversee their project tendering, for their Major Project Team.

Are you suitable?

If you feel you are suitable for this Estimator job, then consider if you meet the following experiences to be considered suitable for the role:

• Quantity Surveying or Construction Estimating background with appropriate degree
• Have operated as an Estimator for at least 5-10 years, within the commercial construction industry here in Melbourne
• Excellent ability to interpret plans and specifications
• Have worked for a top tier builder
