About the Job

Fitastic Digital Media is hiring talented, creative, and detail-oriented Video Editors to join our YouTube and social media team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for crafting compelling visual stories and a deep understanding of editing techniques that engage and captivate audiences across various social media platforms, with a strong focus on YouTube.

Responsibilities :

Edit raw footage to create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing videos for YouTube and other social media channels.
Collaborate with the creative team, including scriptwriters, producers, and social media managers, to ensure the final product aligns with the intended vision and brand guidelines.
Select the most appropriate footage, music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance storytelling and overall video impact.
Maintain consistent visual style, pacing, and tone across all videos, in line with brand identity and target audience preferences.
Optimize videos for different social media platforms, considering aspect ratios, length, and platform-specific requirements.
Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and special effects to elevate production value.
Ensure proper synchronization of audio and video elements, and perform color correction and audio mixing as needed.
Manage and organize digital assets, including footage, project files, and final deliverables.
Adhere to project deadlines and work efficiently under pressure to deliver high-quality videos on schedule.
Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, software, and trends in the YouTube and social media landscape.

Requirements :

Video Editing Course or Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 1–3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably for YouTube or other social media platforms.

Strong portfolio showcasing excellent editing skills and a keen eye for visual storytelling.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.

Experience with motion graphics and visual effects software, such as Adobe After Effects or Motion.

In-depth knowledge of YouTube and other major social media platforms, including video specifications and best practices.

Understanding of basic color theory, composition, and audio mixing principles.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to experiment with new editing techniques and styles.
