Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager Mining Equipment Maintenance to oversee the maintenance, operations, and reliability of a wide range of mining equipment, fleets, and heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance within a mining or heavy industrial environment and a strong understanding of operational efficiencies, preventive maintenance strategies, and team management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mining equipment and fleets (e.g., excavators, dumpers, dozers, loaders, drilling machines, etc.).
• Lead maintenance teams and contractors in ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety, and availability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and coordinate with OEMs or service providers when needed.
• Ensure minimal equipment downtime and maximize machine availability through strategic planning and resource management.
• Maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage spare parts inventory, procurement planning, and cost controls.
• Coordinate with operations, planning, and procurement departments for seamless execution of maintenance activities.
• Implement safety best practices and ensure adherence to safety standards across all maintenance operations.
• Monitor performance KPIs related to machine uptime, maintenance costs, and fleet utilization.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and recommend process or design improvements.
