Computer Aided Design Specialist

We are looking for an experienced CAD Specialist with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in creating and managing 3D models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) for mechanical and structural components. The role involves translating conceptual designs into manufacturable models while ensuring precision, compliance with engineering standards, and design for manufacturability. Prior experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial product, or tooling / jig design is strongly preferred.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings for mechanical components, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) aligned with project and production requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and engineering standards.
• Work on joint and connection designs to ensure strength, durability, and manufacturability.
• Provide CAD support during prototyping, testing, and validation phases.
• Maintain design documentation, version control, and revision history in accordance with quality and compliance standards.
