About the Opportunity :

Our client, a leading full-service law firm in India, is seeking a highly qualified Associate to join their Employment Law practice . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Indian labour and employment laws, strong client advisory skills, and the ability to lead high-impact mandates across sectors.

This is a high-visibility role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, advisory-heavy environment, and is ready to take the lead on complex employment law matters including compliance, advisory, investigations, and contentious issues.

Key Responsibilities :

• Advise domestic and multinational clients on a wide range of employment and labour law issues including :
• Employment contracts, HR policies, compensation structures, and termination matters
• Industrial disputes, disciplinary proceedings, and employee misconduct
• POSH compliance and internal investigations
• Labour law audits and due diligence for M&A transactions
• Workforce structuring, transfers, and retrenchment strategy
• Represent clients before labour authorities, tribunals, and other forums as necessary
• Draft and negotiate employment-related documentation and settlement agreements
• Stay abreast of developments in Indian employment law and contribute to knowledge management initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including litigation, corporate, and compliance teams
• Supervise and mentor junior associates in the practice
