Job Title : Technical Business Analyst
Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong proficiency in SQL and BigQuery to join our Healthcare Analytics team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, analyze complex datasets, and support project execution in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements aligned with business goals.
- Develop comprehensive artifacts such as user stories, functional requirement documents (FRDs), and acceptance criteria.
- Act as a proxy Product Owner within Agile teams to facilitate requirement discussions and sprint activities.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure shared understanding and smooth project delivery.
- Use SQL and BigQuery to perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating results, and coordinating user sign-off.
- Collaborate with QA Analysts to create test cases based on business requirements and ensure completeness of validation.
- Organize and facilitate UAT sessions and user training post-implementation.
- Maintain project documentation including status updates, requirement traceability, release notes, and roadmaps.
- Ensure all deliverables reflect USTs core values : Humility, Humanity, and Integrity and adhere to compliance standards.
Primary Skills :
SQL Expertise Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries for validation and analytics.Google BigQuery Hands-on experience with large-scale data analysis, report generation, and dashboard integration.Strong experience working as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in data-driven environments.Deep understanding of healthcare data systems especially claims, provider, and member data.Proficiency in preparing high-quality documentation : FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and ability to function as a liaison across business and technical teams.Secondary Skills :
Exposure to data migration or data transformation projects.Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Experience coordinating UAT and conducting user training sessions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, and Visio.Good to Have Skills :
Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools.Experience working with source-to-target mappings and data lineage documentation.Familiarity with regulatory and compliance aspects in the healthcare industry.Work Schedule & Location :
