Technical Business Analyst

Job descriptionCollaborate with key business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business goals, objectives, and requirements for new projects. Prepare comprehensive requirement specifications such as user stories, functional requirement documents (FRD), and acceptance criteria for development teams. Act as a proxy product owner within Agile teams facilitating discussions, clarifying requirements, and supporting sprint activities. Partner with development and QA teams to ensure clarity of requirements and smooth execution across project phases. Utilize SQL and BigQuery to extract, transform, and analyze data for report validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and business insights. Collaborate with QA Analysts to create detailed test cases and validate test results against requirements. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user training sessions; provide post-implementation support as needed. Prepare and maintain project documentation including status updates, roadmaps, and release notes. Ensure all deliverables align with UST’s core values and compliance standards. 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, preferably in data-driven environments. Strong SQL expertise ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries for validation, reporting, and analytical purposes. Hands-on experience with BigQuery for large scale data analysis, report generation, and dashboard integration. Solid understanding of healthcare data systems, including source-to-target mapping, claims, provider, or member data. Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment. Exposure to data migration or data transformation projects is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools. Healthcare domain experience is mandatory
