Senior Test Engineer \ SQA Test Coordinator

Position Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SQA Test Coordinator to lead and manage software quality assurance activities across Agile Release Trains. This role demands a strong foundation in QA methodologies, hands-on experience in functional and automation testing, and the ability to coordinate complex test cycles across distributed teams. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between development, product, and QA teams to ensure seamless test execution and release readiness.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for Program Increment (PI) feature releases (3 annually) and biweekly SQA maintenance cycles.
• Coordinate testing across ERP modules with development, product, and QA teams.
• Actively participate in PI planning, backlog grooming, and sprint ceremonies.
• Serve as the SQA Release Train Engineer (RTE) for test streams, ensuring alignment with release timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee test coverage, prioritization, and execution of functional and regression test cases.
• Collaborate with automation teams to maintain regression packs and integrate scripts into CI / CD pipelines.
• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for onshore–offshore coordination, status updates, and issue escalation.
• Engage with business SMEs, product owners, and client stakeholders to align testing with business goals.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, compliance protocols (Govt / ERP), and defect management practices.
• Track and report key quality metrics including defect leakage, test coverage, automation ROI, and cycle adherence.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

5–7 years of QA experience in ERP or enterprise-grade applications.

Hands-on expertise in functional and automation testing, preferably in ERP / Finance domains.

Proven experience as a Test Coordinator or SQA RTE within Agile Release Trains.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (SAFe / Scaled Agile) and PI planning.

Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.

Exceptional communication and coordination skills across global teams.

Experience in end-to-end test execution, regression strategy, and release validation.

Technical Skills

Familiarity with government ERP solutions and compliance-driven testing.

Experience with DevOps CI / CD test automation frameworks.

ISTQB, SAFe, or Agile certifications.

Nice to have : Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Excellent problem-solving and risk mitigation skills.

Ability to work independently while managing cross-functional teams.

Adaptable to shifting priorities and multiple concurrent releases.
