Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to drive the end-to-end migration of data from Oracle to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership skills and proven experience leading large-scale data migration initiatives in enterprise environments. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring involvement in data analysis, mapping, transformation, validation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and seamless integration into Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities :

Define, design, and implement a comprehensive Oracle-to-Salesforce data migration strategy.

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align on scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Oracle databases with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and performance.

Perform data cleansing, enrichment, and de-duplication to ensure data quality.

Leverage ETL tools, automation, and custom scripting to streamline migration processes.

Validate, reconcile, and conduct thorough testing of migrated data to ensure consistency and integrity.

Collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and developers to capture and meet data requirements.

Mentor and guide team members on migration best practices and standards.

Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.

Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, mappings, and procedures.

Deliver post-migration support, ensuring smooth transition and resolution of data-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

8+ years of experience in data migration, with strong expertise in Oracle systems.

5+ years of experience in data integration and consumption.

Proven success as a Data Migration Lead or in a similar leadership role.

Strong expertise in Oracle databases, SQL, PL / SQL, and Oracle Data Integrator.

Proficiency with ETL tools, methodologies, and automation techniques.

Demonstrated ability to manage full lifecycle data migration projects.

Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

Oracle Database or related technology certifications.

Familiarity with Salesforce data models, APIs, and integration patterns.

Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell, PySpark) for advanced data manipulation.

Exposure to Agile methodologies and practices.

Experience in enabling analytics and machine learning initiatives.
