What is the group (Data, Analytics, and Financial Due Diligence Group) responsible for?
Financial services professional to support a new group focused on data, analytics, and financial due diligence that will support Lexington’s global secondaries and co-investment teams in various aspects of underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and other related areas. The group will particularly focus on reviewing and transcribing financial reporting information into a broader database.
What is the ongoing responsibility of a Senior Associate?
Work closely with Lexington’s London investment team to participate in deal-related workflows
Manage data compiling and digital transition with the use of DealCloud, iLevel and similar tools
Assist in the preparation of financial models, valuations, and comparable company analyses under the guidance of investment team members
Help gather and organize financial and operational data from private equity reporting and other sources
Support general due diligence and research
Ensure consistently high-quality, detailed work product and on-time production of deliverables
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be Successful?
2 – 4 years of experience in financial services, prior employment with a US-based firm is strongly preferred
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Superior financial modeling / Microsoft Office skills
Significant prior experience in financial statement analysis and due diligence
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Team-oriented, energetic self-starter with ability to collaborate across the Lexington platform
Strong work ethic and proactive, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm for expanding knowledge
Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
