Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development, configuration, and implementation of BMC Remedy solutions for Digital Service Operations and Management.
- Customization & Integration : Customize BMC Remedy applications to meet specific customer requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Remedy with external systems using web services, REST APIs, and other integration methods.
- System Administration : Upgrade Remedy AR Server and Remedy Mid-Tier server with the latest patches to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance.
- Install and configure BMC Remedy v9.x (or later versions) in a clustered, high-availability environment.
- Security & Authentication : Implement and configure Single Sign-On (SSO), RSSO (Remedy Single Sign-On), and LDAP plugins for robust authentication and security.
- Troubleshooting : Utilize deep knowledge of the ARS platform for log analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving complex Remedy-related issues.
- Consulting & Support : Provide consulting services to clients, delivering Proof of Concepts (POCs) and supporting pre-sales activities. Be willing to participate in consulting engagements, which may include shift work, on-call support, and occasional travel.
- Disaster Recovery : Contribute to the setup and maintenance of comprehensive disaster recovery plans for Remedy.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications :
Experience :
Hands-on experience in BMC Remedy development and administration.Expertise in BMC Remedy applications, including Remedy AR System, ITSM Suite, and CMDB.Proven experience with integrating Remedy using RESTful and SOAP web services.Strong knowledge of SQL for database interactions. Experience with JavaScript and other scripting languages for automation and customization.Solid understanding of system architecture, especially in clustered and high-availability environments.Experience with SSO, RSSO, and LDAP integration.Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
