About the role :
The Product Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing a variety of internal tools (For business teams like Post-sales and customer success) and AI agents. These tools are strategically built with scalability in mind, with a roadmap to evolve into customer-facing solutions that empower Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to drive deeper engagement and collaboration with customers. The ideal candidate is a creative, driven, and skilled designer with a strong desire to learn.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Whatfix Business Applications team to conceptualize internal tools that support various Whatfix teams and have the potential to scale into customer-facing products.
- Work with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis, and apply insights to enhance product experiences.
- Partner closely with the centralized design team on multiple projects, primarily with BizApps.
- Stay updated on current design trends and best practices.
- Proactively incorporate new and emerging AI trends into your work.
- Learn about the Whatfix brand, its design language, and its suite of products.
Qualifications :
2-4 years of full-time design experience, preferably SaaSA Bachelors or Masters degree from a full-time design course at institutes like NID, IIT, or NIFT is preferred.Strong portfolio of design work (1-2 case studies that best represent skills)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Figma or similar design toolsKnowledge of HTML and CSSPassion for learning and a willingness to take on new challengesSkills Required
