About the Role :
This is a Full Time Opportunity based in Pune. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate team member to on board as the Senior Associate - Accelerator Program Manager who is ready to champion the cause of enabling underserved young women to embark on successful careers in the technology sector. If you're passionate about women in STEM, program management, and creating an inclusive ecosystem, this role is tailor-made for you. You will be working directly under the supervision of the Lead Program and Curriculum Development, VigyanShaala - Dr Anushila Chatterjee.
The Kalpana - She for STEM Accelerator is an online program that seeks to facilitate greater access to advanced STEM education and career opportunities for undergraduate women in STEM from both urban and rural areas in India. The program spans 12-14 weeks, offering over 120 hours of intensive learning after the successful completion of the Kalpana Incubator. Each participant benefits from personalized career coaching and guidance provided by a prominent global STEM professional within small groups of 5 fellows. The accelerator aims to assist fellows in honing a specific focus and maintaining disciplined pursuit of their chosen path. Your contributions will be instrumental in facilitating roadmaps for providing long-term career development of young women from marginalized sectors.
Key Responsibilities
As the Junior Associate - Accelerator Program Manager, your role involves leading the execution of the Kalpana - She for STEM Accelerator Program. Your responsibilities include comprehending program outcomes and devising an implementation strategy in collaboration with the leadership team. Interacting with global STEM leaders, mentors, and fellows is crucial to support VigyanShaala's mission of addressing the gender gap in STEM fields.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Expected Competencies and Desired Qualifications
1. Undergraduate or post-graduate in STEM / social sciences, sociology / anthropology or other relevant disciplines
2. 1-3 years of experience in a similar role handling project management, showing progressive responsibility over the years. An understanding of the social / development sector and experience in programs on STEM Education or Digital Skilling and Gender thematic areas will be a plus.
3. Strong writing skills with attention to detail and the ability to document fast, accurately, and comprehensively.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in M.S. Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Word) and commonly used program management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze user data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
5. Strong communication skills (written and oral) to effectively correspond with a diverse audience and to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. This would require proficiency in English and Hindi or any other Indian language.
6. Able to handle work pressures and deliver under tight schedules and work well in teams and lead teams when required.
7. Attention to detail to effectively connect programmatic and organisational strategic priorities.
8. Clarity of thought, patience, a flexible attitude, and a willingness to learn and take ownership is also required.
9. You are expected to bring your own laptops - we can provide refurbished laptops in other circumstances
Reporting : The position will directly report to the Lead-Program and Curriculum Design, Dr Anushila Chatterjee. Functional reporting on certain tasks might rest with programmatic heads or COO.
