Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Engineer Oracle CPQ Cloud to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle CPQ solutions across enterprise environments. The role involves leading end-to-end CPQ implementations, driving architectural decisions, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) process.
You will serve as the technical lead, responsible for solution design, integration, performance optimization, and ensuring best practices across multiple CRM and ERP touchpoints including Salesforce and Oracle Fusion.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Oracle CPQ Solution Delivery :
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and enhancement of Oracle CPQ Cloud projects.
- Design and configure commerce processes, workflows, pricing rules, approvals, attributes, and UI / UX layouts within CPQ.
- Build advanced pricing logic, constraints, validations, and document generation flows.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and scalability best practices.
2. Technical Development & Customization :
Develop and optimize BML scripts, BMQL queries, XSL / XSLT templates, and custom configurations.Build complex logic for pricing, quoting, approvals, and guided selling.Implement custom actions, REST calls, integrations, and rule-based automation.Optimize system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance system stability.3. System Integrations :
Design, implement, and support integrations with Salesforce CRM, Oracle Fusion ERP, and other enterprise systems.Develop API-based integrations using REST / SOAP web services or middleware tools such as OIC, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica.Collaborate with enterprise architects to define integration patterns and data flows.Ensure seamless data synchronization between CPQ, CRM, ERP, and downstream Q2C systems.4. Client Engagement & Requirement Analysis :
Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with business users and IT stakeholders.Translate business needs into functional and technical designs.Prepare solution design documents, architecture diagrams, estimations, and implementation plans.Present designs and prototypes to stakeholders and secure alignment before implementation.5. Testing, Deployment & Release Management :
Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT cycles.Ensure high-quality delivery through version control, DevOps pipelines, and deployment best practices.Coordinate with QA teams to validate configurations and customizations.Support production cutover, go-live activities, and post-go-live stabilization.6. Leadership & Mentorship :
Mentor and guide junior CPQ consultants and developers.Lead internal knowledge sessions and contribute to best-practice frameworks.Review code, configuration, and design documents prepared by team members.Support effort estimation, project planning, and delivery excellence initiatives.Skills & Qualifications :
Must Have :
8- 10 years of experience in enterprise applications or solution consulting.5+ years of hands-on implementation experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud.Strong expertise in :
BML scriptingBMQLXSL / XSLT for document generationCommerce & Configuration modulesStrong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes including pricing, quoting, approvals, and order management.Proven experience integrating CPQ with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (Oracle Fusion).Strong knowledge of REST / SOAP APIs, JSON / XML, and middleware platforms.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Good to Have :
Oracle CPQ Cloud Certification.Experience with guided selling, constraint rules, and advanced pricing engines.Exposure to DevOps, version control (Git), and automated deployment pipelines.Knowledge of microservices, cloud-native architectures, or related technologies.What We Offer :
