Chief Information Security Officer

In the Defense & Aerospace vertical, cybersecurity is not just a technical requirement—it’s a national security imperative. This role is central to protecting sensitive systems, classified data, and mission-critical platforms from sophisticated cyber threats. The cybersecurity lead will interface with government and military stakeholders, ensuring compliance with defense-grade standards and contributing to the strategic defense posture of the organization. Their work underpins the integrity of aerospace innovations and defense operations.

This position reports to the Group Chief Information Security Officer (GCISO).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with the strategic goals of Adani Defence and Aerospace, ensuring the protection of sensitive defence technologies and intellectual property.
• Lead risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in IT and operational systems, prioritizing mitigation strategies to address critical risks.
• Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Oversee the deployment and management of advanced cybersecurity technologies, including threat detection, incident response, and data protection systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into the design and development of defence and aerospace products and solutions.
• Monitor and respond to emerging cyber threats, ensuring the organization’s preparedness to counter sophisticated attacks targeting critical infrastructure.
• Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of innovation, vigilance, and continuous improvement.
• Drive cybersecurity awareness and training programs across the organization to enhance employee understanding of security protocols and practices.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and regulatory bodies, to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
• Provide regular updates to the Group CISO and executive leadership on the state of cybersecurity, including key metrics, incidents, and strategic initiatives.
