Align Technology is looking for a Senior Android Developer for Customer Mobile Applications Team in our Hyderabad, India location. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Android application(s) using Kotlin, Java, Android Studio and Junit, Espresso. As an Senior Engineer, you will be responsible to use best coding practices to write and maintain the features, write automated unit tests, provide technical insights to business owners and also act a team lead for the Junior & Intermediate developers in the team. In this role, you will… Operate as a part of scrum team and actively participate in sprint planning, demo and retrospective, attend daily standups Analyze software functional and non-functional requirements, work closely with manual SQA to understand what needs to be automated Automated new test cases and maintain existing automated test cases Monitor regular test execution (new builds and regression), analyze the reports, troubleshoot & investigate the failures Work with bugs throughout their lifecycle Generate ideas for framework improvements and implement them Maintain automation tests in CI / CD pipeline. In this role, you’ll need … Experience with Mobile App testing - 6+ years Experience with Mobile App automation - 2+ years Experience with integration testing, API testing Experience with Continuous Integration (preferably - Bamboo) Thorough understanding of the role and the place of QA in SDLC, testing processes and methodologies Experience with Appium, XCUITest, Espresso or any similar automation platforms. Knowledge of white box & black box testing Knowledge about Device Farms like browserstack Experience working in distributed team.
