Technical Specialist - Azure Cloud FinOps

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud FinOps Architect to join our team. The Cloud FinOps Architect will be responsible for optimizing our cloud financial management, implementing cost-saving strategies, and ensuring the financial efficiency of our cloud infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud cost management, budgeting, and financial forecasting in a multi-cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cloud Financial Management : Develop and implement financial governance frameworks, cost management policies, and procedures for cloud services.
• Cost Optimization : Identify and execute strategies to optimize cloud costs, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and optimizing storage and data transfer costs.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to create accurate cloud budgets and forecasts and provide insights on variances.
• Cloud Cost Monitoring and Reporting : Set up and manage cloud cost monitoring tools, generate regular reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with cloud engineering, finance, and business teams to understand cloud usage patterns and drive financial accountability.
• Tool Implementation and Management : Evaluate, implement, and manage tools and platforms for cloud cost management and optimization.
